1. Arriving
at the KOA Kampground. Santa Margarita Lake is located about another
half-mile down the road beyond this point. |

2. KOA
Office. Don't turn into this parking area. Continue driving past
the office and swimming pool. |

3. Just
past the KOA Office and swimming pool, is the turnoff into the overflow
camping area. This is where you turn in. Star Hill is in the
background, with the pickup truck sitting on top. Beautiful rocky
hills are in the far background. Note a silver car driving up the
access road to Star Hill. |

4. A

NOT drive or park on any mowed green lawn areas. Be prepared to park
in tall, dry, dead grass. DO NOT drive up the narrow Star Hill road.
Only experienced astronomers having bulky scopes are allowed to drive up and
park on Star Hill. |
