The CCAS Resource Library is maintained by Walt Reil at his home in Atascadero.  Books, VHS video tapes, CDs and DVDs, were obtained via book sales or donations from supportive astronomers, publishers and astronomical and space exploration organizations and agencies.  The CCAS welcomes donations of useful items that are complete and in good condition.  Please note that because the CCAS is an informal organization, not being a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we cannot offer a receipt for tax deduction purposes.

Library items are only available for check-out by current CCAS members.  Members who let their membership lapse will be notified to return library items within a reasonable period of time.  

Item Check-Out:  Please contact Walt at 466-0757 or CCAS, to arrange to stop by his home or transfer items at a monthly CCAS meeting, star party or elsewhere.  The names of folks who have items checked out are listed next to the applicable items in the lists below.  If another CCAS member wishes to use an item already checked out, that person is to contact Walt to see when the item can be made available.  Members are not to transfer library items between themselves without notifying Walt.  If Walt is unaware of the transfer, the original person who checked out the item will be responsible to pay an appropriate fee for the item or insure that the item is returned to the library.

The CCAS reserves the right to direct that items be returned upon request.  If items are not returned to the library when requested, the CCAS may charge an appropriate replacement fee to obtain the same or similar item.
